New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has confirmed the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (Halyomorpha halys) requirements for the 2023-2024 season. These regulations are in effect for containers with a shipped on board date on or after 01 September 2023 until arrival date up to and including 30 April 2024.
The BMSB requirements measures apply to :
- sea containers exported from Italy during the BMSB-risk season
- new and used target vehicles, machinery, and parts exported from or transshipped over BMSB-risk countries during the BMSB-risk season. The 38 risk countries are:
