This is to inform you that with immediate effect, the 6 digit Harmonized System (HS) Code will become a mandatory data as part of the Booking request.
It is essential, accurate commodity information to be provided at the Booking stage and match with the quotation ref. provided in it, and subsequently, with the Shipping Instructions.
If such information is missing from your files during the Booking stage, please contact your sales representative.
When submitting your Booking online, please input the 6-digit HS Code in the dedicated field in the Cargo Description section.
Any Booking received with a missing or incomplete 6-Digit HS code will not be processed.
Booking confirmation will not be available in case of missing HS code.
Any penalty from Customs Authorities due to discrepancy or late correction of the HS code, will be on customer’s account.
