At the end of May, ZIM Italia, representing global carrier ZIM Integrated Shipping Services, has hosted a one-of-a-kind meeting, joined by ZIM Italy’s VIP reefer customers.
The COVID-19 epidemic has brought the world of commercial events to a near standstill, and now, finally, ZIM Italia is incredibly proud to lead a new season of commercial events for its products and services.
The event was held in the Porto Antico area of Genoa, and displayed one of ZIM’s most appreciated products, the ZIMonitor.
ZIMonitor is an innovative tool that provides all the container’s information right at the customer’s fingertips, from location to temperature. ZIM understands that customers want more data, especially when shipping sensitive, high-value, or reefer cargo. Now it is possible to monitor all kinds of cargo and receive immediate notifications if any changes occur.
Following a short theoretical explanation, event guests were provided with more detailed technological information, and partook in a practical demonstration, which highlighted the full potential of the ZIMonitor.
This provided a unique opportunity for ZIM’s customers to truly grasp how their cargo is carefully treated to ZIM’s high standards and observe how this advanced technology is professionally managed by ZIM’s skilled staff.
