ILA Strike - Resumption of work - Update

Dear Valued Customer,

The International Longshoreman Association (ILA) union resumed operations on October 4, 2024
after reaching a tentative agreement with United States Maritime Alliance, Ltd. (USMX) to extend
their Master Contract until 15 January 2025.

Work resumed at the ports along the US East and US Gulf coasts, while some residual delays may
occur as port operations gradually return to full capacity.

ZIM will not apply any Port Congestion Surcharge to cargo moving between US East Coast and Gulf
Coast ports.

ZIM’s team continues monitoring the situation closely and will assist with any remaining issues
stemming from the initial work stoppage.

For additional information, please contact your account owner or customer service team.
