As our hearts go out to all those affected by the devastating earthquake in Türkiye, and our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, we wish to inform you that we are closely monitoring the situation and our teams are at your service to provide support and assistance.
Apart from the port of Iskenderun, which has been subject to significant structural damage, all ports are operating as usual, and we continue to provide service on all lines.
Due to the situation in Iskenderun and the surrounding area leading to a complete stoppage of all operations, we are postponing ZMI calls at Iskenderun until further notice:
• For water-borne cargo already on its way to Iskenderun, we will perform a free-of-charge change of destination to Mersin.
For customers who do not approve Mersin as an alternative, containers will be discharged at Haifa while the next steps are discussed with the receivers.
• For future Iskenderun cargo, all booking cancellations, amendments and changes of destination will be free of charge throughout the month of February.
