ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. (NYSE: ZIM) ("ZIM" or the "Company"), a global container liner shipping company, announced today its consolidated results for the three and twelve months ended December 31, 2025. Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2025 Highlights Net income for the fourth quarter was $38 million 1 (compared to a net income of $563 million in the fourth quarter of 2024), or diluted earnings per share of $0.32 4 (compared to diluted earnings per share of $4.66 in the fourth quarter of 2024); net profit for the full year was $481 million 1 (compared to a net income of $2.15 billion for the full year of 2024). Adjusted EBITDA for the fourth quarter was $327 million, a year-over-year decrease of 66%; Adjusted EBITDA for the full year was $2.17 billion, a year-over-year decrease of 41%. Operating income (EBIT) for the fourth quarter was $143 million, compared to operating income of $658 million in the fourth quarter of 2024. ZIM continues its operations to and from Israel and is accepting bookings as usual.
Despite the war situation in Israel, all local terminals in both Ashdod and Haifa are functioning as usual, with some limitations on DG cargo that will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Service interruptions may occur on short notice due to safety guidelines dictated by Israeli authorities. In such cases, we will provide specific updates.
Given the recent war escalation, as well the overall geopolitical situation in the area, insurers have increased the war risk insurance premium imposed on all vessels calling Israeli ports, including ZIM’s vessels.
Consequently, in addition to ZIM’s previous customer advisory dated March 8th , 2026, ZIM War Risk Premium (WRP) surcharge for all cargo to and from Israel, will be updated to include the following service as follows, effective as of April 4th, 2026, and until further notice:
